Day 280 I love Christmas Eve. The peace of Christmas finally settles on the hearts and minds of everyone, and we take time to be with family, and contemplate the true meaning of our celebration. We had everyone here except Jason and Paula and all of their kids. Brittany played piano while we sang Christmas carols, and Dave read from Luke 2, and then the kids put the baby Jesuses in their mangers. Morgyn did the big baby, CJ did the Fontanini one with Cameron and Jesse's help, and Tyler did the white one on the piano. We had foamy egg-nog (Cameron's favorite), lots of food and lively conversation.

Today marks 7 months since Amberly was taken. She is never far from our thoughts, especially when we are together as a family. She is forever in our hearts and I hope she was able to peek in for a minute, just to be near us.
