Today Dave's Dad turns 85. I remember telling Dave that his father was one of the reasons that I married him...I had been looking for the father I had missed as a child, and Keith's qualities stood out as kind, honorable, gentlemanly and happy. He was called "Mr. Terrific" for years by his co-workers, because whenever he was asked how he was, he would answer,"TERRIFIC!" And he is. He has happy, twinkling eyes, a ready smile, and a deep love for his family that motivates everything he does. My earliest assessment of him has proven to be more than true...he has proven himself in every way to be the honored patriarch of the Carroll family, and I am proud to call him my Dad as well.
