Today was a day of friendship, sharing and love. Patricia and I met our long-time friend Mary Ann for lunch where we caught up for the years we haven't seen each other. Each of us shared all that we have learned through various difficult things we've endured. It was uplifting, enriching and fed our souls as well as our bodies. She is a friend tried and true...just as are my friends in Book Club where I headed right after. We had our 'extended' summer get together...we talked and shared 'potluck' dishes...and shared more than that. I'm so blessed to have long-standing friendships, that have withstood the test of time, that have brought me inspiration, courage, and most of all, love.
