Wednesday, Day 296

Brittany and I left at noon to be in time for Nathan to get off the bus from pre-school and we were there in plenty of time. We met some of Am's friends at the  park with all of the boys and visited for a while. Erin, Lisa, Jill and Erika...we all talked about Amberly and how she was so strong and determined, facing such terrible odds, and how she tried to be positive, never wanting special attention. It was wonderful to re-connect. Jesse had his first swing ride and loved it! The twins came home from school with balloons that they played with ENDLESSLY, blowing them up and letting them go. Later, Davin went to his Raingutter Regatta for Cub Scouts with the boat that he made. At bedtime Brittany gave them Mommy-Amberly-Hugs (requested by Nathan) and we talked a little about her. Davin said he wished he could turn back time to before she was sick. There were a few tears shed...healthy, loving tears. Day 1 down and successful!
