Book Club was tonight and the wedding is tomorrow and I was feeling decidedly unprepared to meet a whole bunch of people I don't know, so I took matters into my own hands and went to the store and bought Spanx, which smoothes you out and makes you look at least 10 pounds thinner. Then I went and got a facial and manicure. It was just wonderful to feel a little pampered and everyone at Book Club said I was glowing! Yes! We leave at eight in the morning with Dave's parents...counting on blessings
