Day 182

Saturday was a busy day with the boys! Jason went to a conference for widowers and I had the great idea to have our niece Ashlee take pictures of all of our grandchildren. Everything went well for the most part. Here the twins found a big box to play in downstairs while they played Bookworm with Nathan looking on. That iPad has paid for itself 10 times over with the benefits we've had! When it came time to get ready for pictures was when chaos began. One twin didn't like the color of his new shirt. The other ran off and outran poor Dave who pulled a hamstring in the chase. Nathan didn't want his hair touched while Morgyn needed her hair done. The alarm for Jason's van kept on going off and in typical fashion everyone was upset as we left for the park. While there, it would have been nice to see the crazy grandparents, Brittany and photographer in a video, as we jumped up and down, called out instructions, made faces and funny sounds, clapped our hands, and generally made fools of ourselves just to get the perfect group shot. Results to be shown at a later time.
Then it was football time as everyone came over bringing food and treats for the biggest rivalry game of the year between BYU and the U of U. It was a lively group for sure, and Dave was so happy that his Utes won easily, since for some reason the Cougars self-destructed.  I was exhausted after a long day and fell asleep even before everyone left! Yes, I'm that old.
