Day 145

It is unbelievable to me that we are still receiving cards and flowers from friends and family! These beautiful flowers are from our neighbors that had not heard about Amberly's passing. I received a silver bracelet from my from sister-in-law Shelley with a heart-felt letter, and a pair of socks with this touching poem attached from my book-club friend Debbie. I AM so blessed!

How Guardian Angels Are Like Socks

They come in every color, every pattern and design.

They come in just your size, of course - now isn't that divine?

They may be long and skinny or short and roly poly;

And when they've been around a while, chances are they're holy.

They'll keep you on your toes as they carry out their role -

To lead you step by step, and protect your little sole.

They'll help you to achieve great feets, to stand your ground and even,

To put your foot down and stand up for something you believe in.

They help you to step over life's many stumbling blocks...

So thank God for guardian angels; they bless us more than socks!

Our guardian angel is now Amberly, and I know she brings us blessings seen and unseen.
