I went to the movie Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close with my friend Anne the other night, and since this was the book we read for Book Club last month, I didn't know if the movie would measure up to the book, as is usually the case. But this time I was amazed at how much more I liked the movie! It was so well cast, and they made the story come alive in a way that enhanced the foundation that the novel had laid. I was enthralled from beginning to end. What a treat.
Nine months missing Amberly...how can it be that long, it still feels like yesterday. Until forever...
