Counting our blessings...

Another deadline! Since it was my Book Club tonight, I wanted to get my Christmas poem written, so I threw it together and here it is: (Whew!)
Christmas Blessings ~ 2011 This will be the year that's forever etched in our memory,
With the deepest grief we've ever felt in losing our Amberly.
We're forever changed, our souls are stretched with compassion,
For all the sorrow in the world and the needs of every fashion.
All we can do is count our blessings and trust in the Father's will,
And understand the Savior's command to us, "Peace, be still."
It wasn't long after Amberly died that our first miracle occurred,
We knew we had an angel in heaven, when this news was heard:
That Dellany and Tremayne, after five years of hoping and trying,
Would be blessed with a baby, my response of course, was crying!
They will have a boy by April, a tender gift of renewed hope,
A gentle mercy given us to anticipate, to heal and to cope.
The second blessing , in September, exactly a year to the date,
For Zac and Taylor's anniversary, they gave us cause to celebrate.
They took the big step to be sealed in the Temple for eternity,
Realizing the truth, that in this life, we are given no certainty.
Brittany and Jon were blessed just lately, with a better job for Jon,
CJ's reading at almost four, Jesse's smile just goes on and on.
Cassidy and Danny have now parted, their kids are handling it well:
Cameron, thirteen, Tyler, ten, and Morgyn, nine, our only grand-girl!
Jason was wonderful with Am in the last months with her cancer,
Now a miracle has come to him as our prayers have found an answer.
His fiancee's name is Paula, a widow with four children of her own,
With her three girls and one boy, they must build a brand new home!
Davin, nine, is so grown-up, twins Aaron and Collin are on the run,
Nathan four, with charm galore, all need love from a wonderful "Mum".
We honor the Savior at this blessed time, to contemplate his Birth,
And recognize more than ever before, His Atonement's greatest worth.
We will be reunited again, with loved ones that we miss so much,
And we can be healed like new again, by his Holy Redemptive Touch.
We count our blessings as we go, we try to recognize them each day,
We count you all among them, may the richest blessings come your way!
