Thursday Book Club

Day 201 Book Club was at my house tonight, so it was a very busy day. I worked, shopped (again), cleaned (again), made lasagna, rolls, salad and an apple dessert. Everyone raved about the food, but whenever I cook I don't feel like eating it, and it never seems to turn out like I think it will. (I guess I should cook more and I might lose weight!) The book was rather dark and depressing, but well written, and we did have a good discussion. We were a lively group and talked till after 11:00 p.m. Dave put in his earplugs so he could get to sleep, because the noise level would rise from time to time. It's a good thing my turn comes around only once a year! Both for me and for him! I'm exhausted!
