Day 215 Another picture of the mountains! As I was walking this morning I looked up to "Jake's Peak" and memories flooded back. This was taken from our front yard. The gray stone jutting up on the left was named by our kids after my Uncle Jake Braun (my Mom's brother) came to visit and was overwhelmed with the grandeur and beauty of our mountains. The kids enjoyed him so much that they wanted to name it after him. Wasn't that sweet? He is gone now and I wonder if he looks in from time to time at his "rock".

I never knew that about your children naming part of your mountain for Uncle Jake!!! That is the sweetest thing I have ever heard of!
