Day 173

This evening I have Book Club and I just finished reading "STiLL ALiCE" by Lisa Genova. It is a heartwrenching novel about the effects of Alzheimer's Disease. Alice speaks in the first person, a brilliant author, doctor and professor of cognitive psychology and linguistics at Harvard, who at 51 finds out she has early-onset of the disease. Through her eyes you truly feel her fear and confusion as her clarity of mind and memories slip away from her. It is a book I will not soon forget, and I can't wait for our discussion tonight!
