Easter Sunday

Day 36
Last year, Easter was earlier, and my Mom was still able to share her traditional Easter greeting with me, "Der Herr is auferstanden!" meaning the Lord is risen. And I answered back in German, (Er ist wahrhaftig auferstanden), He is risen indeed! This year I missed my early morning phone call, but was able to carry on the tradition with my sisters (and my cousins on Facebook). Brittany said the greeting for me in French. This is Carl Bloch's depiction of the Doubting Thomas, as the Savior reveals himself to him. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have, that our Lord and Savior is risen indeed!
