Day 23

My friend has loaned me a series of three books, the first one being "Remembering Isaac" by Ben Behunin. It is a story about a young potter in a small town, who is replacing the old potter Isaac, who died. This old potter was more than his trade; he was a mentor, a teacher, a friend, who with his wise insights molded the lives of many, just as he molded clay into beautiful objects. Behunin is a local author, and I've found this book uplifting and original...just what I've needed right now.
